Incheon, Pakistan Women Cricket Team beat Bangladesh and won the first gold medal in the Asian games. In the final match, Pak women cricket team beat Bangladesh by 4 runs. The match was decided by the duck worth Louis method due to rain in the ground. Pak batted first and scored 97 runs for six wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Due to rain, the match was abandoned for some time. When the final match of T20 was resumed that Bangladesh team was given the target of 43 runs in only 7 overs. The Bangladesh team could manage to get only 38 runs in 7 overs and hence the match was ended in the victory of Pakistan and Pak women cricket team won the match and the tournament in the Asian games, which was the first gold medal in the tournament.
