Yasir Shah 6 Wickets in 1st ODI match against Zimbabwe

Pakistan beat Zimbabwe in first one day international match, which was played in Harare Sports Club on 01 Oct 2015. Pakistan won the first ODI match with the margin of 131 runs. The opening batsmen of Pak side failed to give a strong opening and three batsmen went back to pavilion on mere 34 runs. Then Shoaib Malik and Sarfaraz Ahmed played well and they scored 31 and 44 runs respectively and supported their side. On 128 runs, five Pak batsmen left the ground. Then Imad Waseem and Muhammad Rizwan played and contributed 124 runs partnership in which they scored 61 and 75 runs respectively. Both the players showed their career best performance in the match. Pakistan managed 259 runs in the 50 overs, which was very handsome total and good target for Zimbabwe to chase in their turn.

When Zimbabwe started their batting, they failed to manage their batting and the battling line up was strangled and failed to chase the target. Yasir Shah, once again played well in this one day international match and no Zimbabwean batsmen could understand his leg spin bowling and he took 6 wickets for mere 26 runs. Shoaib Malik and Imad Waseem also played well and they got 3 and 1 wicket respectively. The tremendous spells of these spin bowlers bowled out Zimbabwe on mere 128 runs and Pakistan won the first one-day international match with 131 runs margin. Yasir Shah has the great contribution in the success of Pakistan national cricket team in the first one day international and he is the leading wicket taker, who was also awarded with the ‘Man of the Match’ award.
