Afridi Backs but Sarfaraz To Captain Pakistan In All Formats

Shahid Afridi is leading and popular cricketer and ex captain of Pakistani cricket team and he backed current captain of T20i team of Pakistan, Sarfaraz Ahmed to make him captain of Pakistan cricket team in all three formats.

He was talking during the inauguration ceremony of recently renovated Mass Communication Department at University of Karachi. The NGO of the veteran cricketer, Shahid Afridi Foundation has funded this renovation in order to promote the education.

Sarfaraz is the fighter and Pakistan needs fighter player and Sarfaraz Ahmed has the ability to play aggressively when it is demanded in all three formats of cricket. 36 years old player also commented on her cricket career. He said that he played enough for the international cricket for Pakistan and he focused more on the T20 leagues. He also advised the young cricketers to focus on their fitness.

He said that fitness plays the basic role when you play the cricket and the players should pay special attention to it. He pointed out to the former Pakistani captain, imran khan and said that he kept himself fit. He also talked about how he is helping KU in renovating their buildings.

Afridi also said that SAF has been working voluntarily across Pakistan and the foundation has taken the administrative setup after renovating their Mass Communication department. The initial contract is signed for three years.
