Ahmed and Umar to remain away from team during tour of England

It has been decided to teach more lessons to spoil children Umar Akmal and Ahmed Shahzad and it is expected that they will not be given chance in ODI series against England.

According to details, attitude of Ahmed Shahzad and Umar Akmal always remained problematic for team management. New chief selector Inzamam ul Haq ignored them in training camp and then test squad. According to BBC, selectors have decided not to include Umar Akmal and Ahmed Shahzad in ODI squad due to indiscipline. Both are busy in Caribbean league these days. Recently, Umar Akmal played fist good inning after a long time while Ahmed Shahzad is still in search of good form. It is expected that Shahid Afridi will also not be included in T20 squad.

Former captain initially announced his retirement after ICC World T20 but later expressed his desire to remain in the international cricket. The ODI squad will be announced after the end of Edgbaston test that will start from 3rd August 2016. The camp in National Cricket Academy will start from 1st August during which Junaid Khan and Umar Gul will also be called along with players of A team in order to judge their performance. Both fast bowlers are out of national team for quite some time due to fitness problems. Few days ago, Umar Gul claimed that he is fully fit.

Selectors have decided to give chance to 3 or 4 players of A team in senior team. The team has to play 2 ODI matches against Ireland while series of 5 ODI matches against England will start from 24th August. Chief selector Inzamam ul Haq is in England to view the performance of A team. Sharjeel Khan, Jahid Ali and Babar Azam have so far performed well in England from A team while Hasan Ali and M Nawaz performed well against counties. Chief selector also talked with coach Mickey Arthur and ODI captain Azhar Ali about this matter.
