Asad Shafiq has broken the record of most centuries at number 6 position made by Gary Sobers. Asad Shafiq scored a hundred in the 1^st test at Brisbane which is the 9^th hundred at 6^th position by the batsman which is a record as he left behind Gary Sobers who scored 8 hundreds at this position. Asad Shafiq is at 5^th position for scoring runs on this position and it is the first century by Asad Shafiq in 4^th inning. Prior to that, he has scored two half centuries in the 4^th inning as he scored 80 runs in 2012 in Galle and 56 runs in Johannesburg in 2012-13. Before this century, his average in the last 7 innings was just 8.28 which also include three ‘zeros’.
