London, The middle order batman of Pakistan cricket team, Asad Shafique has scored century in the Oval test match. He became the first batsman after 57 years he was bowled out on zero in both the innings of Edgbeston test match and he scored century in the next test match. He scored 109 runs in the Oval test match on 12 August, when he was playing at the number fourth position in the first innings of Pakistani side.
Before this, Wazir Muhammad got pair in a test match against West Indies in 1958 and he scored century in the next test match. Pakistan is playing its first innings in the Oval test match and Pakistani batsmen played well. They made fifty partnerships for the third and fourth wickets and they scored these partnerships after 10 years as both the teams have made these partnerships 10 years before in 2006. Stuart Broad could not become successful on this ground and he could not get five wickets in any inning of the test match. He got only 15 wickets with the average of 44.67.
