Australia Defeated Pakistan in Melbourne 2nd Test Match

Melbourne, Pakistan played the second test match against Australia at Melbourne Cricket Ground and defeated Pakistan cricket team in the second test match by one inning and 18 runs. Pakistan and Australia play the three test match series and this was the second test match as Pakistani has already lost the first test match at Brisbane and now Australia got the decisive lead in the test match series.

Pakistan started the match by making 443 runs and declared the innings, when nine players were out. Azhar Ali scored double century while Sohail Khan and Asad Shafique scored 65 and 50 runs respectively. Australia scored 624 runs in the first inning and took the lead of 181 runs. David Warner scored 144 runs and Steve Smith scored 165 runs while Mitchell Starc also played well and he made 84 runs. Pakistan responded in the second inning but the batsmen failed to get the lead of 181 runs, which Australia obtained in the first inning. All Pakistani batsmen were out just for 163 runs and Australia won the second test match by an inning and 18 runs, which is the big margin for victory.

Sami Aslam failed to make big score in the first and second innings but Azhar Ali played well and he scored 43 runs in the second innings also. Babar Azam scored only 3 runs and Younis Khan scored 24 runs. Captain Misbah ul Haq failed to open his account and Asad Shafique scored only 16 runs in the second inning. Sarfaraz scored 43 runs and Muhammad Aamer made only 11 runs. Now Pakistan has to play only one test match and it lost the test series already as Australia is leading the series by 2-0.
