The first grand slam tournament of 2015 will start from today on 19th January 2015 in Australia. Stanislas Wawrinka will defend men’s while Serena Williams will defend women’s title. Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams will be top seed for Australian Open men’s and women’s singles respectively. Two times Australian Open champion Victoria Azarenka could not make a place in even top 32 players. Djokovic will play to win his 5th Australian Open title while Serena Williams will be the title’s candidate for 6th time. 17 times grand slam champion Roger Federer is 2nd seed, Rafael Nadal 3rd seed, Stanislas 4th seed and Nishikori will be 5th seed player. In women, Russian star Maria Sharapova is 2nd seed while Simona Halep is 3rd, Petra Kvitova 4th and Ana Ivanovic is 5th seed player.
