Board of Control of Cricket in India is the richest cricket board of the world and it has started the Indian premier league, which has increased the wealth of the Indian cricket board. BCCI signed the agreement of the broadcasting right with Star India for next 5 years from 2018 to 2022 for 16348.5 crore rupees.
This is the biggest deal in the history of cricket regarding broadcasting rights and BCCI will get 54 crore rupees from each IPL match during next 5 years. Star has signed the $2.55 billion agreement with the IPL, which is 258 percent than the previous rights of IPL. BCCI offered the broadcasting rights in seven different categories.
