Great West Indian batsman Brian Lara has accepted the invitation from Pakistani bowler Wahab Riaz and said that he can never forget the bowling spell of Wahab Riaz. The former captain asked about the invitation by Wahab Riaz during a conversation in MCG and later accepted his invitation and said that many of his friends live in Pakistan and it will please him to go to Pakistan. Lara said that Wahab’s spell against Australia in Adelaide was impressive and he left a message for Wahab Riaz on twitter. Brian Lara said that he went several times to Pakistan and he has good memories from Pakistan and whenever he is called in Pakistan he would like to go to Pakistan. He has many fans in Pakistan and he still remembers his century against South Africa in National Stadium Karachi during 1996 world cup quarter final. Unfortunately, international cricket is not being played in Pakistan at the time but his good wishes are with Pakistan that international cricket may resume in Pakistan soon.
It should be remembered that Wahab Riaz surprised millions and impressed hundreds of people after his superb spell at Adelaide Oval. Wahab Riaz was also among the fan club of Wahab Riaz who even offered to pay 50% fine of Wahab Riaz and also showed his annoyance on ICC for fining Wahab. Now Wahab Riaz has invited Lara to Pakistan and said he is grateful to Lara for his praise. Brian Lara is his hero in cricket and they were fan of his batting. He wants him come to Pakistan at his expense and see the hosting of Pakistan.
