Brisbane, Indian tennis queen, Sania Mirza won the women doubles trophy in the Brisbane International tennis competition. Sania played the women double title with the American player, Bethanie Mattek Sands against the Russian players, Ekaterina MaKarova and Elena Vesnina and she defeated them with her partner by 6-2 and 6-3 in the final of the Brisbane International competition. She won the title but she could not maintain her dominance in the women double tennis and she lost the top position, on which she has been present since last 91 weeks. Now her partner, Bethanie Mattek Sands will get this top position in tennis women doubles and the regular announcement will be made on Monday. Sania will also play the Australian Open by making her pair with Barbora Strycova of Czech Republic in the Sydney International and the Australian Open, which is scheduled from 16 January.
