It was really surprising news for everyone that new middleweight champion Saul “Canelo” Alvarez will fight against former junior welterweight champion Aamir Khan for his first match after becoming champion. It’s really difficult to believe that this is going to happen.
Aamir has tried previously to fight against famous stars including Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. and he would be happy to accept this challenge but several things are strange for this fight.
There are several reasons as Aamir Khan (29) will fight the middleweight boxer which is 2 weight classes higher than his own, Aamir Khan was completely defeated by boxers less in size of Alvarez and the most important thing is that Khan doesn’t have any such special record that he would be granted such status of fight.
But everything is possible in boxing and the man gets that he don’t deserve. Khan is one of the most famous boxers and now he has the chance to surprise the whole world by defeating the middleweight champion who is far superior to him.
On the other hand, it is an important fight for Alvarez. It’s important for him not to commit any mistake but a defeat will really ruin his career. He should know that a win against Khan will really boast his career who is used as a sacrificial lamb here. But this is a game where anyone can beat every other one. Khan will surely make use of the chances if they are provided by Alvarez.
