Fawad Alam 10,000 Runs In First Class Cricket

National cricketer Fawad Alam has completed 10,000 runs in first class cricket. The middle order batsman reached this milestone during the 7th stage of Quaid e Azam Trophy after scoring 108 runs n.o. while playing for Sui Southern Gas against HBL.

According to details, ignoring talented players while selecting team is not new and due to this Pakistan could not win a world cup after 1992. Pakistan could not win T20 world cup also after 2009. Currently, Pakistani team is at no 8 in ODI ranking and no. 7 in T20 ranking.

Fawad Alam hasn’t been able to make his place again in the national team despite continuous brilliant performance in domestic cricket. In the 7th stage of QA Trophy, Fawad made his place among great players who scored 10,000 runs or more in domestic cricket when he scored unbeaten 108 runs while playing for Sui Southern Gas against HBL. Fawad has scored 10077 runs in 132 1st class matches with 25 hundreds and 53 fifties. His highest score is 210 runs. Fawad Alam has so far represented the national team in 3 test matches, 38 ODI matches and 24 T20 matches.

He played his last international test match in November 2009 against New Zealand in Dunedin, last ODI match against Bangladesh in April 2015 in Dhaka and last T20 match in December 2010 against New Zealand in Auckland.
