Karachi, Former Pakistan cricket team captain, Wasim Akram was attacked in Karachi, when a fire hit his car near National Stadium in Karachi today. It is told in media, that when he was passing by the National Stadium, some unidentified person attacked on his vehicle but he remained safe in this attack. At that time, he was walking out side of his car on Karsaz Road near National Stadium.
He informed the police about the incident and got registered the case with the police authority. According to his statement, two unidentified person were passing by him on the motorcycles and they opened fire at him. Police reached to the spot and they started the investigation. He noted the number of the vehicle and he gave this number to the police. He said that he did not receive any threat from any person. He was going to National Stadium to conduct the training camp for fast bowlers.
