The preparations for the opening ceremony of world cup have reached climax while the former and current stars along with the performers will be seen by the fans 2 days before the start of world cup.

The program “Special Moment” is still under secrecy. According to sources, there will be few special things about the 14 participating teams and performance of Australian artists will also be included in this.
The entry for the event in Christchurch is free. New Zealand artists Solo3 Mio, Ginny Blackmore, Hayley Westenra and former famous players Richard Hadlee and Stephan Fleming along with current captain McCullum will also be present in the ceremony. The opening ceremony will be telecast live worldwide but interview of any player will not be allowed during this event.
