Imran Khan is the leading medium pacer of Pakistan and he made his test debut against Australia in October 2014. Since then, he played seven test matches and now he is playing the 8th test match against New Zealand at Hamilton. It is said that he set the world record of waiting for the first test run in the test match career. He played seven test matches in which he received his turn in four innings but he failed to score any runs in these four innings.

The 29 years old medium pacer has to wait for the first test runs for long time. When he came into the ground to play the first inning, he got an outside edge and the ball went into the gully position and he took two runs to start his score on the scoreboard for the first time in the test matches. He raised his hand and he showed his pleasure to make the runs, then he hit his first four in the test matches. He scored 6 runs and he was the last batsman of Pakistani batting line up and Pakistani batting was ended at 216 runs when he was out at 6 runs. Pakistani cricket team is still lagging behind 55 runs than the New Zealand first innings score.
