IPL 2016 of Vivo IPL 9 is the 9th edition of Indian Premiere League that will be played from 9th April to 29th May 2016 in various stadiums of India. There are total 8 teams participating in this as per IPL 2016 Schedule. 6 of these teams have played in the previous IPL tournaments also and these include Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Delhi Daredevils, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kings XI Punjab. Apart from these 6 teams, the teams of Rising Pune Supergiants and Gujarat Lions are playing for the first time in this tournament due to absence of Chennai Super Kings and Rakjasthan Royals. Total 60 matches will be played in this tournament including 56 group matches, two quarter finals, one eliminator and one final match. Famous players from all the important teams of world will participate in IPL 2016 and all the teams have several international level players in their team squads.
