Lahore, Junaid Khan and Umar Akmal are included in the Pakistani squad, who will play the ICC Champions Trophy event, which will be started from 01 June in UK.  There was conflict between these two players, which was risen during the Pakistan cup one day tournament being played in Rawalpindi. The PCB started the investigation against the players through their inquiry committee and now the PCB set aside the findings and suggestions of the inquiry committee and gave the warning these two players and allowed them to play the ICC Champions Trophy.

Umar Akmal was the captain of the Lahore team and Junaid Khan was also part of that team. When the toss was done before the start o the last match and he was asked to have any change in his team, he replied that Junaid Khan is missing and nobody knows where he is. On this, Junaid Khan uploaded his video message and said that he told the management and he is not fit to play on that day. The cricket board started the inquiry of the conflict of these two players and asked them give their comments. The inquiry committee held these two players responsible for this conflict and they were supposed to ban for 4 to 6 weeks. The board set aside the suggested punishment and gave the warning to the players and allowed them to become part of the national team and play the next coming ICC Champions Trophy.
