The captain of Pakistan cricket team, Misbah ul Haq has been suspended for one test match due to slow overrate in the Christ Church test match against New Zealand. He is also fined for 40% of the match fees. The match referee has also fined the whole Pakistani team for 20% of the match fees.

Misbah Ul Haq reached Pakistan direct from Christ Church to Karachi and then Lahore due to sudden death of his father in law he attended the funeral of the father in law.
