He also broke the record of winning the most test matches in his captaincy of Imran Khan and Javed Miandad and he became the successful captain of Pakistan.

He did white wash against Australia in the test series in UAE and now won the first test match against New Zealand and also broke the record of Imran Khan and Javed Miandad for winning most of the test matches. Misbah ul Haq has played 32 test matches in his captaincy and he grabbed victory in 15 test matches, which is more than all Pakistani captains. He lost 9 matches and 8 matches were ended in draw. Imran Khan played 48 test matches in which he got success in 14 test matches defeat in 8 te4st matches and 26 test matches ended in draw. Javed Miandad played 34 test matches and got success in 14 test matches, while he was defeated in 6 test matches and he played 14 test matches were drawn.

After victory against New Zealand he held the press conference, in which he appreciated his junior players for showing their best performance. He said that he did not think about the record of captaincy and Imran Khan and Javed Miandad were the best captains and players. he also thanks cricket board that they give him the chance of captaincy for four years.
