All-rounder M Hafeez failed during an unconventional bowling test. International cricketer M Hafeez gave an unconventional test in Chennai (India) from Pakistan Cricket Board during which his bowling action was measured according to ICC rules but Hafeez failed to take his arm to 15 degrees during this bio-mechanic test and his arm was over 15 degrees in most of the deliveries he bowled.
After the result of this test, there are now few chances left that PCB would appeal in ICC and now Hafeez can only be selected as batsman in the world cup squad.
M Hafeez is the 2nd Pakistani bowler after Saeed Ajmal whose bowling action was declared illegal by ICC due to which he can’t bowl in international matches. Saeed Ajmal has also announced his unavailability for world cup 2015 due to this problem.
