Lahore, The ex bowling coach, Mushtaq Ahmed of the national team has been appointed as the bowling coach for the West Indian cricket team. He will perform the responsibilities of the bowling coach of West Indian cricket team for one month. The NCA head coach contact of Mushtaq Ahmed was expired last month and the extension will be affected from July. So during this internal period, he decided to perform the responsibilities of the bowling coach of West Indian cricket team as the bowling coach. He signed this agreement for one month and after the expiry of this agreement, he will join the PCB as the head coach NCA.
He said that it will great honor for him to work with the West Indian cricket team. The brilliant and talented cricketers are appeared in the West Indian cricket team. Although the Caribbean cricket team is not so much strong but their cricketers have exception abilities and he will try to improve their bowling during this short term agreement.
Mushtaq Ahmed has performed the responsibilities as the spin bowling coach of English cricket team and the bowling coach of Pakistan cricket team. He also performed in English county, Surrey, IPL and PSL.
