Pak Beat West Indies in ODI Series 2017

Guyana, Pakistan beat West Indies in the one day international series after defeating them in the third and last ODI being played at Guyana. Pakistan won the ODI series by 2-1.

The third and final one day international match was played in Providence and the West Indian captain, Jason Holder won the toss and decided to bat first. WI scored 233 runs for 9 wickets in the allotted 50 overs. Shai Hopes and Jason Muhammad were the main batsmen, who scored 71 and 59 runs respectively. Pakistan played and it got the target successfully on the loss of only 4 wickets. Shoaib Malik scored 101 runs and Muhammad Hafeez made 81 runs. When Pakistan started batting, the opening stand of Pakistani cricket team remained very hopeless. Kamran Akmal out for duck while Ahmed Shahzad and Babar Azam made 3 and 16 runs respectively.

The opening stand of West Indies was also remained very hopeless and Evin Lewis and Chadwick Walton started the innings and both the players scored 16 and 19 runs respectively. The Jason Muhammad and Shai Hopes made the partnership of 101 runs and both the players took the batting of their team to 169 runs. Due to tough bowling of Pakistani side, the total score of West Indies was restricted to 233 runs and they lost 9 wickets. Muhammad Aamer, Junaid Khan and Shadab Khan took 2 wickets each while Imad Waseem and Hassan Ali took one wicket each.
