Pakistan beats India in Blind T20 Cricket World Cup 2015 match

Defending champions Pakistan started the World Blind Cricket World Cup victoriously after defeating India. Captain Zeeshan Abbasi took 5 wickets and Haroon scored 84 runs to reach Pakistan to victory.

The 4th Blind World Cup started a day later due to the death of Phil Hughes. The matches of Pakistan vs England and Sri Lanka vs Australia on Tuesday were postponed. All the cricketers and officials of 7 nations participated in the mourn ceremony of young Australian batsman. The tournament officially started on Friday.

India batted first after winning toss and the team could score 259 runs. Ajay Redy scored 71, Vankit Swararao scored 63 and Jafar Iqbal scored 38 runs. Pakistani skipper Zeeshan Abbasi took 5 wickets for 23 runs. Badar Munir and M Jameel started Pakistani innings but Badar perished after scoring 2 runs.

Later Haroon and Jameel made partnership of 112 runs. Jameel lost his wicket after scoring 74 runs. Pakistan achieved the target in 38thover. Haroon and Anees remained unbeaten on 84 and 50 runs respectively. In the second match on Friday, England beat South Africa with 41 runs.
