Abu Dhabi, Pakistan has finished the test series against Australia recently in which they won both test matches and did the clean whitewash against Australia. In both test matches, Pak batsmen played well and they showed their class by making nine test centuries in two test matches. Pak batsmen continued their performance against New Zealand. Pak scored 566 runs and only three batsmen were declared out in the first innings of first test match against New Zealand. In the first innings, only five batsmen did their batting and they scored more than 80 runs in their innings, in which three centuries are included. Ahmed Shahzad scored 176 runs, Misbah scored 102 and Younis Khan scored 100 runs while other two batsmen, Muhammad Hafeez scored 96 and Azhar Ali scored 87 runs in the first innings of first test match against New Zealand. In the first innings, three centuries partnerships were also made in which first wicket partnership is 178 runs between Ahmed Shahzad and Muhammad Haeez, 169 runs were made between Ahmed Shahzad and Azhar Ali. Younis and Misbah also collected more than 150 runs in their partnership and this partnership was unbeaten as both batsmen remained not out and Misbah ul Haq declared draw first innings. This is the first time in the history of test cricket that first five batsmen of any team scored more than fifty runs in the innings.
