Pakistan Cricket Board has taken the step for the restoration of the international cricket in the country. Pakistan super league final match will be played at Qaddafi Stadium Lahore on 07 March but the final match is subject to the security clearance.

Pakistan played one day and T20I matches in Lahore two years before and with the rapid change in the situation within the country, the officials of the PSL have taken this initiative. Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the schedule of the second edition of Pakistan Super League. The group matches of the tournament and the play off will be played in Dubai and Sharjah. In the event, there are 20 group matches and the play off matches will be played. No match was played in first edition of PSL at Abu Dhabi and in the second edition, there will be no match played in this stadium. When the final match will be played at Lahore, it is necessary that at least eight international players come to Pakistan to play the final match.

According to the rules of the tournament, every team has seven international players and it is necessary that four foreign players will be included in the match. PCB said that the first tournament got tremendous popularity and it was concluded within sixteen days and now this second edition will be completed in eighteen days.

The inaugural ceremony will be conducted on 09 February in Dubai Stadium and the huge number of fans will come to watch the final match of the PSL. They will also welcome the foreign guests in the tournament. The inaugural match will be played between Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi. To ensure the participation of the foreign players in the tournament, the franchisers have signed the agreements with the players. Most of the players are ready to go to Lahore and they will get additional compensation and the foreign players will be insured.
