Pakistan lost the match against West Indies by150 runs and along with that, the national team also made many records of poor performance in this match.
While playing first in Christchurch, the West Indies team scored 310 runs in 50 overs due to poor bowling of Pakistan and aggressive batting by Andre Russell which is the highest score against Pakistan in the world cup matches.
The national team also made few other records due to its very ordinary performance. The first four batsmen; Nasir Jamshed, Younis Khan, Haris Sohail and Ahmed Shahzad; got out at just 1 run while the previous record was made by Canada in 2006 against Zimbabwe when they lost their first four wickets for just four runs.
Losing against West Indies by 150 runs is also the biggest defeat of Pakistan with respect to runs in the world cup. Prior to that, New Zealand defeated Pakistan by 110 runs in the 2011 world cup and now West Indies has broken that record.
