Providence, the first match of the current series between Pakistan vs West Indies will be played on 07 April. This is the first ODI of the current three ODI matches series and this ODI match will be played at 06:30 pm according to PKT. Sarfaraz Ahmed is the captain of Pakistan cricket team while Jason Holder will lead the West Indian team. It is expected that Shadab Khan will be member of the team and Hassan Ali will also show her performance during the match. The match will be played at Guyana National Stadium.

Both the teams played last ODI in 2013 in Caribbean islands and they played many matches in which one match was ended as tie. Both the teams will have to improve their ranking so that they can get direct entry in the world cup 2019. Pakistani cricket team is present at the eighth position while West Indies is present at the ninth position. This will be the first ODI series of Sarfaraz Ahmed after being appointed as the captain of the national cricket team. Both the teams have many new and young talented players and they can show wonderful performances in the matches of this series.
