Pakistan has won the 3 match ODI series against West Indies 3-0 after defeating West Indies by 136 runs in the 3rd ODI match.
In the 3rd match, played in Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Pakistan scored 308 runs for 6 wickets after batting first. In the reply, the West Indies team bowled out for 172 runs in 44 overs. Wicketkeeper batsman Danesh Ramdin remained top scorer for West Indies side with 37 runs. Brathwaite (32), Holder (26), Bravo (17) and Samuels (13) remained other top scorers. From Pakistan side, M Nawaz took 3 wickets while Wahab took 2 wickets.
In the beginning, Azhar elected to bat first after winning the toss. Azhar and Sharjeel scored 85 runs for opening partnership while Sharjeel got out after scoring 38 runs. Azhar and Babar scored 147 runs for 2nd wicket. Azhar Ali got out after scoring 101 runs while Babar Azam also scored a century in his 3rd consecutive match. He scored 117 runs in 106 balls with 8 fours and 1 six. Sarfraz Ahmed remained not out on 24 runs.
Baabr Azam was given man of the match and man of the series awards for his best performance in match and ODI series.
