Azhar Ali is an international cricketer of Pakistan who is now the new ODI captain of Pakistan and also the vice captain of test team of Pakistan. Azhar was born on 19th February 1985 in Kasur (Punjab). He started his international test career against Australia in July 2010 at Lord’s. He is a right handed batsman who has also played for Lahore Whites, Lahore, Lahore Blues, Punjab, Abbottabad, Khan Research Laboratories (KRL) and Huntly (Scotland). Technically, Azhar Ali is a sound batsman who is known for his focus and temperament due to which he has an important place in Pakistan test team. Now after retirement of experienced players from ODI, Azhar has been given the responsibility of ODI team captaincy.
