ICC Champions Trophy Squad

Lahore, ICC Champions Trophy will be played from 021 June in UK and all major eight countries of the world will play the champions trophy matches. Pakistan cricket board has declared the names of the players, who will play the ICC Champions Trophy. Pakistani leading batsman, Kamran Akmal was dropped from the national team while his younger brother Umar Akmal became part of the national team. The chief selector, Inzamam ul Haq announced the names of the players and Azhar Ali, Ahmed Shahzad and other players are included in this ICC Champions Trophy squad. Kamran Akmal was given the chance to play in the tour of West Indies but he failed to show his performance, which he showed in the domestic cricket and in Pakistan Super league. Umra Akmal was dropped from team due to his poor fitness but now he is part of the team as he passed the fitness test and he is now available with the national team.

The national team for the ICC Champions trophy will be comprised of the players like Muhammad Hafeez, Ahmed Shahzad, Azhar Ali, Shoaib Malik, Umar Akmal, Sarfaraz Ahmed (captain), Wahab Riaz, Junaid Khan, Shadab Khan, Imad Waseem, Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam, Muhammad Amir, Hassan Ali, Aamir Yamin/Fahim Ashraf.
