PCB Starts Looking for Substitute of Hafeez

Lahore. Pakistan cricket Board has started searching of the substitute of Muhammad Hafeez. They are also trying to make Babar Azam an all rounder. The young cricket gave the bio mechanic test in Brisbane and after getting their bowling action clear, he will start bowling in the matches.

The bowling action of Muhammad Hafeez was declared suspected two times in a year and he was banned to bowl for 12 months. During the tour to England, the question mark was put on his form as batsman and after that he faced the fitness problems. When his bowling action was cleared, he was included in thes national team as 16th player in the One Day squad. He could not show good performance against the Kangroos. He made only 72 runs in just one match and in the remaining matches, eh touches the outgoing balls and he was failed to make big score in the remaining matches. As a bowler, he could not get any wicket. In these circumstances, PCB wants to get ready any other all rounder in the team for the coming series. PCB was considering Haris Sohail but he is now facing the fitness problems.

PCB is also looking at Babar Azam and he went to Brisbane from Adelaide to give the test of his bowling action in the bio mechanic lab approved by ICC. The report of the test will be received within 15 days. Remember that Babar Azam took the captaincy of national under 19 team as off spinner and he remained very effective for the team but he was stopped to bowl due to his suspected bowling action. The board has desire to know the current situation of his bowling action and after getting clearance, he can be tried as the all rounder.

It is to be clear that Babar Azam scored 282 runs in the ODI series against Australia and he is now included in the top 10 of the ICC ranking for the first time.
