A beautiful ceremony will start the Pakistan’s first T20 cricket league today after which the teams of Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators will play the first match of Pakistan Super League 2016.
The viewers will see the performance of Pakistani singer Ali Zafar and Sean Paul while several other Pakistani celebrities will also participate in this opening ceremony of PSL. Total 24 matches will be played between 5 teams of this tournament while these matches will be hosted by stadiums in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
In this first league of PCB, the 5 participating teams are Lahore Qalandars, Peshawar Zalmi, Quetta Gladiators, Islamabad United and Karachi Kings. All the teams have Pakistani captains including Azhar Ali for Lahore Qalandars, Shahid Afridi for Peshawar Zalmi, Sarfraz Ahmed for Quetta Gladiators, Misbah ul Haq for Islamabad United and Shoaib Malik for Karachi Kings.
