New Zealand sports radio network launched their own radio sports for telecasting commentary, sports news and talk shows on various sports activities and sports events including cricket, rugby, football, squash, tennis and various other games. The radio sport is also working for the development of golf events, talk shows and other news which are broadcast after every hour.

This network has various anchors and announcers for its different segments. The network is headquartered at Auckland which broadcast its various programs with popular anchors including Phil Gifford, Murray Deaker, Doug Golightly, Kent Johns, Mark Watson, Willie Lose and many more. This radio network telecast its various programs through its various sister network including Newstalk ZB, Radio Rhema, Southern Star, Radio Hauraki, Easy Mix, ZMFM, Classic Hits FM and Life FM.

This radio station presented its first program as breakfast program from which it started its transmission. One News sports anchor, Tony Veitch telecast the breakfast programs till July 17, 2008 and he was convicted in a murder case of his girlfriend and he had to resign from his posts. Then this program was handed to another anchor, Darcy Waldegrave along with former New Zealand cricket player Mark Richardson to present matches and other sports competitions in their breakfast programs. But Veitch again came and joined its duties and started his old programs with the new and changed name as Breakfast with Veitchy.
