Serena Williams vs Madison Brengle for Australian Open title

Serena Williams is the leading and well known tennis player and she played the second round match on Wednesday against Madison Brengle. Various people predicted about the result of the match and it was great shock for the tennis lovers that Serena Williams lost her second round match against her opponent, Brengle. She played last match against her opponent in Madrid in 2015 and she won this match quite easily with the convincing margin of 6-0 and 6-1. Williams is ranked number two in the world and she lost her match against Brengle, ranked 72 in the ranking and she left the crowd with great shock in Auckland.

Serena Williams is the world number two and she won 22 grand slam single titles and she lost her second round match to her American fellow, Brengle by 6-4, 6-7 (3-7) and 6-4. This was the second defeat of Serena Williams after defeating in the semi final of US Open and it was tough for her to play this match against her. She said that her opponent played well and she could not manage to win this match. She did not think to ever hit 88 errors in her career and she thought it was probably right and she did not like to watch on the crappy game. She further added that she did not use wind and her opponent was playing in the same conditions and the wind was perfect for her game. This was annoying for her for whatever reason. She said that the windy condition in Auckland disturbed her and she faced many problems with her ball toss and swings.

Brengle is not very experienced play and she played this match of her life against the slightly rusty Williams. It was said that this match was one sided and Williams was the winner of 71 Women’s tennis association titles and she also won 22 grand slams if she is compared to Brengle as she is yet to win any. Brengle could not impress the audience through her performance and she lost the matches at Beijing, Linz and Luxembourg and she faced the problems in the beginning of her career. She failed to get success in the pre-tournament qualifier and she earned the wildcard for 2014 US Open main draw and she was capitalized for her first big match win.

There are two preparatory tournaments for the Australian Open, which will be started in Hobart and Sydney from Monday. The off season is gone and now the tournaments are going to start and the players find it hard to follow the regular training session during this season. Williams hopes that the weather conditions in Melbourne will be different from Auckland. The top players from around the world will gather in Melbourne and they will play the matches in the tournament and the fight for the first grand slam of the year will be started. Williams will try to come in the form and Brengle hopes to carry on her success in the Australian Open.
