Former T20 captain Shahid Afridi said while talking to media that it is not appropriate for him to ask for farewell match after playing cricket for 20 years and he is not depending on one match. He is playing for Pakistan not for PCB. People like him and that’s enough for him. Former captain said that he has no intention to enter in politics. Politicians’ job is to serve people and he is doing so through ‘Shahid Afridi Foundation’.
Afridi said that Pakistan always showed its readiness to play series with India but India never compromised because they listen to their politicians. BCCI either has to listen its politicians or progress cricket by making its own organization.
The star cricketer added that it will not be easy for Pakistan to beat Australia and New Zealand in their home ground after playing continuously in ground of Dubai and Abu Dhabi. PCB should prepare the players on good pitches and then send them to New Zealand and Australia.
