Somali National Television is a national television of Somalia being headquartered in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia. This television station is run by the Ministry of Information, Posts & Telecommunication of the Federal Government of Somalia. The main aim of this channel is to broadcast entertainment programs, news and other sports relating programs or activities.

This channel temporarily suspended its broadcasting on March 18th, 2011, then Ministry of Information began broadcasting experimentally and this television station was re-launched on April 4th, 2011. This channel broadcasts 24 hours a day which can be watched throughout the country.
