According to Ganguly both countries will take part in the Asia Cup and dismissed all rumors of India not playing in the Asia Cup. He was talking to media at Kolkata Airport while traveling to attend the Asian Cricket Council meeting which is scheduled to be held on 3^rd March. The rumors and reports were also surfacing that India will not depart to Pakistan to take part in Asia Cup due to which the tournament will have to be reschedule and decided to be played in UAE with mutual agreement of both parties.

On supporting Big 3 plan, BCCI made an agreement with Pakistan to play 6 mutual series in 8 years but later it refused to do so. After cold response from Indian govt. due to tense relations on borders, BCCI officials also joined them and conditioned the series from permission of government in order to delay the matter.

Pakistan was at the forefront when movement to demolish “Big 3” was underway. In March 2017, Indian media once again tried to play the game and said that neutral series is expected in September, October this year on neutral venue.

Yesterday, PCB decided to take action when it could not receive positive response from BCCI in the ICC Meeting. According to sources, legal notice will be sent next week in which compensation for financial loss will be demanded for not playing the mutual series.

According to sources, he gave example of players of England, Australia and South Africa who receive 10 to 12 crore rupees annually. In this matter, he is supported by coach Anil Kumble.

According to details, the panel under Justice Lodha presented several options for improvement in administration of the board and one among them was to ban the ads between overs. Lodha panel said that ads between overs should be banned as it frustrates the viewers while ads should only be run between drinks, tea and innings break while a sponsor logo should also be present on a limited part of screen during the match.

This suggestion of Lodha Panel was difficult for BCCI because it receives 1600 crore rupee annually for ads. That’s why BCCI requested in Supreme Court not to ban ads after which the court allowed the board to resolve this issue by itself. Supreme Court said in its decision that they want to give any opinion about presentation of ads during TV matches but the matter is now on BCCI which can decide after considering every aspect according to the suggestion of Lodha Panel.

Indian Board assured the court that they will try to solve this issue after consulting broadcasters and other stakeholders that will end the problem of viewers about ads during the match. It should be remembered that the court has ordered BCCI to act upon other suggestions of Lodha panel within 6 months.
