Lahore, The ex captain of Pakistani cricket team, Misbah ul Haq is awarded with the prizes of Imtiaz Ahmed Spirit of the Cricket and Life Time Achievement Award. A ceremony was conducted in the private hotel in Lahore in which the players of the World XI, international cricketers, representatives of the ICC, PCB officials and the national cricketers participated. At this time, Misbah was awarded with the prizes but Younis Khan and Shahid Afridi did not attend the ceremony. Yasir Shah was declared best player of test while Babar Azam for one day and Imad Waseem for the T20 cricket best player. Hassan Ali and Shadab Khan got the emerging player award and Sarfaraz Ahmed and Azhar Ali won the award for showing extraordinary performance.

MCC Honorary Membership for Misbah Ul Haq Forever

Melbourne Cricket Club (MCC) has awarded the honorary membership to the ex captain of Pakistan, Misbah ul Haq in recognition of his services for cricket. He is the 22nd Pakistani player, who got this honor. Before him, Muhshtaq Muhammad, Imran Khan, Javed Miandad, Javed barki, Zaheer Abbas, Waseem Akram, Waqar Younis and other popular Pakistani players. The last cricketer was Rameez Raja, who got this membership. He was awarded with the honorary membership for life in 2015.
Misbah ul Haq played 75 test matches and 132 innings, and he made 5222 runs with the average 46.62. He scored 10 centuries and 39 fifties and his maximum score is 161 runs not out in the test matches.
He also played 162 one day international matches and he made 5122 runs in total 149 innings with the batting average of 37.52%. He could not make any century and highest score in the ODI is 96 runs not out.

Farewell Ceremony for Misbah, Younis and Afridi

Lahore, Pakistan Cricket Board is going to make the arrangements for the farewell ceremony for the ex captain of Pakistan cricket team, Misbah ul Haq, Younis Khan and Shahid Afridi on 25 May. The sources said that the general body meeting of PCB will be conducted on 25 May and the ceremony will be considered to give the farewell to Misbah, Younis and Afridi and it is possible that the wonderful ceremony will be managed on the same day.

During the ceremony, the Spirit of Cricket trophy will be awarded to the most successful captain, Misbah ul Haq and Younis Khan will also be awarded with the award for crossing the ten thousand runs in the test cricket. Shahid Afridi will also be awarded with the prize during this event.

Misbah ul Haq Warm Welcome after Reaching Homeland

Lahore, Misbah ul Haq reached home after winning the test series against West Indies. He also retired from the international cricket. He won the last test match and last test series against West Indies, which is the memorable test series of his career, when he was at the peak of his career.

The ex captain of Pakistan national team, Misbah ul Haq reached at the Allama Iqbal International airport Lahore with his wife and children after winning the last test series, which is also a great record as he is the first Pakistani captain, who won the test series against West Indies on their home ground. The officials of PCB and his relatives, friends and the fans welcomed him on the airport. They were presented the garlands and the flowers petals were also thrown over the national heroes. He said that the test series against West Indies is worth praised and he will remember this test series and the historical win for his whole life.

Lahore, Misbah ul Haq is the leading test cricket and captain of Pakistan cricket team. Now he is retired from the international test cricket but he got success in the last test match of his career. Before Misbah, Abdul Hafeez Kardar retired in 1958, Imran Khan retired in 1992 and Rashid Latif retired in 2003 with the success in the last match of their careers. Misbah won 11 test series in his captaincy and he got registered his name in the list of the successful Asian captain. Before him, Saurav Ganguly and MS Dhoni won 9, 9 test series in their captaincy.

Uzma Khan Says Mr 99 Lucky for Her

Lahore, Misbah Ul Haq is the test captain of Pakistan cricket team and he is playing last test series before retirement in West Indies. He got two chances to complete his century but he reached to 99 runs and he could not complete his century. In the first test match, he remained not out on 99 runs and all team was out but in the first inning of second test match, he failed to complete his century and he was given out at 99 runs.

His fans were disappointed with his performance and for not completing the century. His wife, Uzma Khan encouraged her husband and she declared her Mr 99 and left a tweet on the social media that Mr 99 you are lucky for her. She tweeted that whatever happened with him but it is enough for her that she got him. The viewers liked her tweet and they showed their best wishes for him to play in the next innings.

Misbah ul Haq Hit most Sixes as Test Captain

Misbah ul Haq has hit most sixes in test cricket as captain of Pakistan’s test team. Misbah ul Haq hit two consecutive sixes in the last test match that took his team to victory and also improved his record of sixes as test captain. He has hit 69 sixes as captain of test team. Behind him are B McCullum (59), MS Dhoni (51), Brian Lara (49) and Clive Lloyd (49) respectively.

In his test career, Misbah ul Haq has hit total 78 sixes which makes him the batsman with most sixes in test cricket for Pakistan. Younis Khan with 70 sixes is at 2^nd spot while at the 3^rd spot is Wasim Akram with 57 sixes.

Misbah Completed 5000 Runs in Test Cricket

Jamaica, Pakistani captain and leading batsman, Misbah ul Haq completed his 5000 runs in the test cricket. He became seventh test batsmen, who completed 5000 runs in the test cricket. He scored 99 runs not out in the first test of the current series between Pakistan vs West Indies.

It is to be clear that Younis Khan is leading the players, who made maximum runs in the test cricket, he remained at the top position with 10,000 runs in the 116 test matches. Javed Miandad scored 8832 runs, Inzamam ul Haq made3 8829, Muhammad Yousaf made 7530, Saleem Malk scored 5768 and Zaheer Abbas made 5062 runs in the test cricket. Younis Khan crossed the mile stone of 10,000 runs in this test match.

Misbah Dream of Director Cricket not fulfilled

Lahore, Misbah ul Haq is the leading player and captain of test team of Pakistan. He is on the tour of West Indies to play the test series against West Indies. The chairman, PCB, Shehryar Khan is the active supporter of Misbah ul Haq and he praised Misbah many times. He declared that he would appoint Misbah as the Director Cricket after his retirement from the international cricket. He declared him the well educated, civilized and respected players and the board should utilize his experience and knowledge about the modern cricket. When the head of the PCB announced his retirement from the post after few months, his all of the dreams are started failing. Now Haroon Rashid has been appointed as the Director Cricket in the PCB.

English Cricket Board is utilizing the knowledge and experience of his retired player, Andrew Strauss so that they can get benefit of his experience and knowledge about the international cricket, which can help the board and the young players to improve their performance at the domestic and international level. Younis Khan and Misbah Ul Haq were appointed as the honorary advisor in the cricket board so that they can bring change and improve the performances of the players through their exposure of knowledge and experience. Both the players are present in West Indies to play the final test series and after that they were retired from the international test cricket.

Misbah Ul Haq Close To Retirement

Test captain Misbah ul Haq is not a part of PCB’s future plan as a message has been sent to him that he has to take retirement from international cricket. The senior batsman is allowed to take the decision at the time of his own choice.

The sources say that Misbah’s experience will be used in domestic cricket if he takes such decision. There is a strong chance to give the captaincy to vice captain Azhar Ali. On the other hand, Younis Khan can be given a match or a tour so that he can become the first ever Pakistani batsman to complete 10,000 runs in test cricket. The batsman has so far made 9977 runs and he is just 33 runs behind to reach this milestone.

It should be cleared that Misbah previously hinted to announce his decision of retirement or not after checking his form and fitness in PSL.
