In the 3^rd and the last match of the T20 series which was played at Gaddafi stadium Lahore Pakistan bet the Srilankan team and won the series. Pakistan made the target of 181 and in reply the Srilankan team could only score 144 in 20 over’s by losing 9 wickets. And on scoring the bombastic half century Shoaib Malik was given the title of man of the match.

From Srilankan side Danushka and dilshan came as openers and both of the openers couldn’t performed well, on the total of 10 dilshan got out and after some time the one down bats man Sadera Samaraokarama also got out on 15 runs.

After losing 2 wickets on 15 runs the opener Danushka also couldn’t stand long on the wicket and lost his wicket on Muhammad Hafeez bowling, whereas the mid order batsman Mahela Adwaty also got out on the total of 57 and scored only 11 runs. Dosan shanaka and chaturanga D Silva played really well and helped in increasing the score of the team and then after scoring 54 runs Dosan Shanaka lost his wicket on Faheem ashraf bowling and after a short time chaturanga D Silva also lost his wicket on the total of 106 and scored 21 runs.

The captain Thisara Perera only scored 10 runs and got out by Hasan Ali, after the captain wicket parasana and pathreyana also couldn’t stand long on the wicket and on the total of 143 both the players got out so the middle order and the low order batsman couldn’t performed well and Srilankan team only scored 143 runs in 20 over’s by losing 9 wickets.

Pakistan Whitewashed Sri Lankan

From Pakistani side Muhammad Amir took 4 wickets, Faheem ashraf 2 whereas Imad Waseem, Muhammad Hafeez and Hasan Ali took 1 wicket each.

Before that the Srilankan team won the toss and decided to field first whereas Fakhar Zaman and umar amin came as openers and gave the team a start of 57 runs Fakhar Zaman got out on 31 runs whereas on the total of 91 umar amin also got out and scored 45 runs.

After the openers got out Shoaib Malik and Babar Azam played really well and made increase in the team runs, both the players made the partnership of 75 runs though Shoaib Malik got out on the total of 166 and scored 51 runs whereas Pakistan c reached the total of 180 in 20 over’s by the splendid batting of Babar Azam who made 34 runs.

On the other side the major general Muhammad asif Ghaffor while sharing his point of view on twitter said today the nation sacrifices won, thank you Srilanka. Pakistani players played really well, PCB and the security departments also performed well.
