]]> Martina Hingis and Sania Mirza have made their place in the 3rd round of Wimbledon championship women’s double matches. On the other hand, Roger Federer and Serena Williams have qualified for the quarter final of the tournament.

The pair of Martina and Sania defeated the Japanese pair of Miyu Kato and Eri Hozumi in straight sets with 6-3 and 6-1. In men’s singles, Roger Federer crossed the 3rd stage to reach quarter final. Japanese Kei Nishikori abandoned his match against Marin Cilic due to injury.

Serena Williams and Venus Williams also reached the quarter final stage after crossing 3rdstage. Dominika Cibulkova defeated Agnieszka Radwanska. Apart from them, the other winners were Simona Halep, Angelique Kerber and Elena Vesnina.
