The tri nation series was played in West Indies in which Australia, South Africa and West Indies played their matches with each others. In the final match of the tri national series, Australia beat West Indies by 58 runs and won the final of tri nation series match. Australia won the match and it also won the tri nation series trophy. Mitchell Marsh is declared man of the match and Josh Hazzelwood is declared the man of the series. This match was played at Bridge Town Barbados and the third team, of the tri series was South Africa.

In this match, Australia won the toss and it decided to bat first and scored 270 runs in 50 allotted overs on the loss of 9 wickets. Mathew Wade scored 57 runs and he remained top scorer from his side. Aaron Finch scored 47 runs and Steven Smith made 46 runs. Jason Holder and Shanon Gabriel scored 2 wickets each from West Indies side. West Indies chased the target and scored only 212 runs and all team was out. Jonathan Charles scored 45 runs while Danesh ramdin scored 40 runs. From the Australian side, Josh Hazzlewood took 5 wickets and Mitchell Marsh took three wickets. Before this, West Indies beat South Africa in a match to qualify in final of this tri nation series matches.
