Former head coach Pakistan cricket team, Waqar Younis, is surprise on the issue of selection and dropping Umar Akmal for ICC Champions Trophy.
The former captain said during an interview that Umar Akmal is his own worst enemy who doesn’t want to gain fitness after hard work. Team management has decided to drop him from Champions Trophy squad. Now he should try to improve but it is difficult to say that he can do this as there are several spots on his career. Due to this, his talent could not come forth despite getting several chances.
He added that sending the middle order batsman back is shameful for national cricket. It is not possible to know the real culprit without knowing complete facts.
