Leeds, The captain of the ICC Champions Trophy winner national team, Sarfaraz Ahmed played the debut match in county cricket and he made his first match memorable due to his wonderful performance. He played well from Yorkshire team and made 42 runs in the debut match in which 3 sixes and two fours are included but he could not save his team from defeat on the hands of Derbyshire.
Yorkshire played first in the NatWest T20 Blast and made total 180 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in which his expensive 42 runs are also included. The opener of Derbyshire, Billy Godalman made 67 runs and after that Van Madison made 47 runs and they got the target in the last over for the loss of five wickets. Sarfaraz Ahmed will also play 4 more matches from the Yorkshire county in the NatWest Blast series.
