Yasir Shah is the well-known leg spin bowler, who was born on 02 May 1986 in Swabi. He started his international cricket career as the specialist leg break bowler and he became popular for his flippers, leg spin and googlies.

He played his first test match on 22 October 2014 against Australia in the series, which was played in United Arab Emirates. He became very successful in the test matches and he took so many wickets in the test matches that he became the fastest Pakistani bowler to take 50 test matches in minimum test matches.

He toured with Pakistan team in 2011 and played his first one day international match on 14 September 2011. In the first ODI match, he took two wickets for 51 runs against Zimbabwe. After that, he became the regular member of the team after imposing ban on the bowling of Saeed Ajmal and started taking wickets. He is equally effective in test and ODI matches and help Pak to take wickets and win the matches.
