Younis Khan reached 5th place in ICC Test Ranking

Famous Pakistani middle order batsman Younis Khan has succeeded to achieve 5th position in new test ranking of ICC after scoring a double century in Oval test.

ICC has released new ranking of players in test cricket according to which Pakistani middle order batsman Younis Khan has reached from 11th to 5th spot after scoring a double hundred against England in Oval test. Younis Khan was at 5th spot before the start of series against England but he lost the place in top 10 batsmen after performing poorly in first 3 test matches.

In the new test ranking, Australian captain Steven Smith is at the top position and England’s Joe Root is at 2nd position. New Zealand’s captain Kane Williamson is at 3rd and South Africa’s Hashim Amla is at 4th position.

On the other side, the ranking of test bowlers remained mostly unchanged as English fast bowler James Anderson is at 1st and Pakistan’s Yasir Shah is present at 5th spot.

It should be cleared that Younis Khan has also leveled the record of legendry Pakistani batsman Javed Miandad after scoring his 6th double century in test cricket.
