Dubai: ICC have updated the new T20 ranking. In which the Pakistani batsman Baber Azam have obtained his career best 6^th position.

According to the ICC ranking the Indian captain Virat Kholi is at the first position and the Australian batsmen’s Aaron Finch and I N Levis are at the 2^nd and 3^rd position, Newzealand captain Kane Williamson is at the 4^th position, and whereas the outstanding Australian batsman Glen Maxwell is at the 5^th position whereas our national player Babar Azam got promoted from 21th position to 6^th position which he got due to his best performance in the 3 matches of T20 series against the world eleven, young man got the title of man of the series because he scored 179 runs in 3 matches.

In bowlers ranking Imad Waseem is still on the first position, whereas the Indian bowler Bumra after getting one level up is now on the 2^nd position and the protease league spinner Imran Tahir is on 3^rd position whereas the afghan bowler Rashid khan is on the 4^th position, Bangladeshi fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman is on 5^th,  and the west Indian spinner Samuel Badree is on the 6^th position.

In All rounder list the Pakistani’s couldn’t make place in the first 10 positions but Shoaib Malik is at the 11^th position, whereas the Bangladesh player Shakib Al Hasan is at the first position.

In team ranking New Zealand is at 1^st, Pakistan on 2^nd, West Indies on 3^rd, England is on 4^TH position, whereas India is on 5^th and South Africa is on 6^th position.

In the bowling department, the leading bowler of Australia, Josh Hazzlewood is at the first position while Hassan Ali of Pakistan is demoted from the sixth to the seventh position. In the bowling ranking, Imran Tahir of South Africa is at the second position while Mitchell Starc is present at the third position. Jasprit Bumrah of India is promoted to the 27points and he moved to the fourth position, which is his career best position in the one day international ranking. Bumrah took 15 wickets against Sri Lanka in the ODI series.

In the batting department, Indian captain, Virat Kohli is present at the top position and he also leveled the record of 887 points of the Indian leading batsman, Sachin Tendulkar. Kohli scored 330 runs against Sri Lanka in the recent one day international series. In the batting department, Babar Azam of Pakistan is at the fifth position.

In the all rounder department, Shakib ul Hassan of Bangladesh is present at the top position while Muhammad Hafeez of Pakistan is at the second position.

Dubai, Pakistan got the chance to reach to the 6th position in the one day ranking. Pakistan played well in ICC Champions Trophy and it lost one match against India and won two matches against South Africa and Sri Lanka and it has made its position strong with good points on the ranking table. Pakistan will have to beat India in the expected final against India.
In the group stage matches, Pakistan defeated SA and SL and it has increased three points and now the green shirts has total 91 points. If Pakistan loses the match against England then it will have to lose one point and its points will be 90. Pakistan is now 14 points ahead from the West Indies and there is no danger to play the qualifying round for the coming world cup in 2019.
On the other side, Pakistani batsmen showed poor performance in their batting and their ranking will be reduced. Babar Azam lowered down to eighth and Hafeez is lowered down to 22 position. Azhar Ali is now present at the 42nd position and Shoaib Malik reached to the 48th position. Hassan Ali increased its position on the points table by 16 points and now he is present at the 19th position. Muhammad Irfan reached to the 25th position and Muhammad Hafeez is remained at the second position in the list of the all rounders.

Bangladesh is lingering on 10^th position with total 78 points, Scotland is on 11^th position, Zimbabwe is on 12^th position, UAE 13^th, Netherlands 14^th, Hong Kong 15^th, Papua New Guinea on 16^th, Oman on 17^th and Ireland on 18^th position.

The top 9 teams in the ranking till 31 December 2018 and the host Australia will qualify for the T20 World cup 2020.
