Dubai: ICC have updated the new T20 ranking. In which the Pakistani batsman Baber Azam have obtained his career best 6^th position.

According to the ICC ranking the Indian captain Virat Kholi is at the first position and the Australian batsmen’s Aaron Finch and I N Levis are at the 2^nd and 3^rd position, Newzealand captain Kane Williamson is at the 4^th position, and whereas the outstanding Australian batsman Glen Maxwell is at the 5^th position whereas our national player Babar Azam got promoted from 21th position to 6^th position which he got due to his best performance in the 3 matches of T20 series against the world eleven, young man got the title of man of the series because he scored 179 runs in 3 matches.

In bowlers ranking Imad Waseem is still on the first position, whereas the Indian bowler Bumra after getting one level up is now on the 2^nd position and the protease league spinner Imran Tahir is on 3^rd position whereas the afghan bowler Rashid khan is on the 4^th position, Bangladeshi fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman is on 5^th,  and the west Indian spinner Samuel Badree is on the 6^th position.

In All rounder list the Pakistani’s couldn’t make place in the first 10 positions but Shoaib Malik is at the 11^th position, whereas the Bangladesh player Shakib Al Hasan is at the first position.

In team ranking New Zealand is at 1^st, Pakistan on 2^nd, West Indies on 3^rd, England is on 4^TH position, whereas India is on 5^th and South Africa is on 6^th position.

Australia is present at sixth position with 110 points and West Indies has total 109 points and it is at seventh position. Sri Lanka has 95 points and it is present at 8^th position while Afghanistan has total 90 points and is at 9^th position. Bangladesh is lingering on 10^th position with total 78 points, Scotland is on 11^th position, Zimbabwe is on 12^th position, UAE 13^th, Netherlands 14^th, Hong Kong 15^th, Papua New Guinea on 16^th, Oman on 17^th and Ireland on 18^th position.

The top 9 teams in the ranking till 31 December 2018 and the host Australia will qualify for the T20 World cup 2020.
