Babar Azam was the main Pakistani batsman, who scored century and he completed 101 runs on just 61 balls. The leading Pakistani opener, Fakhar Zaman assisted him during the inning and he completed his quick fifty by scoring 52 runs on just 30 balls. Babar played aggressively and he hit 13 fours and 2 sixes during his inning with the striking rate of 160.31. He helped Pakistani team to take the total to 200/6 in just 20 allotted overs. The host team had to face the difficulties and they never in position to put pressure on Pakistani team and the whole team b of Leicestershire county was bowled out for 142 for all out in just 19.2 overs. Imad Waseem and Shaheen Shah Afridi showed brilliant performance and they took two wickets each.

PCB Signs Central Contract Players list

Pakistan Cricket Board has signed the central contact with the players, whose names are announced and their categories are also announced. There are some players like Saeed Ajmal, Shahid Afridi, Sohaib Maqsood, Junaid Khan and Fawad Alam, who are not considered for the central contracts. There are two players, Umar Akmal and Ahmed Shahzad, who are demoted from the C category to the D category.

PCB has signed the contract agreement with the players for the period from 01 October 2016 to 30 June 2017. There are seven players, who are placed in the A category and they are Sarfaraz Ahmed, Misbah ul Haq, Yasir Shah, Shoaib Malik, Muhammad Hafeez, Azhar Ali and Younis Khan. There are four players, who are placed in the B category and they are Muhammad Aamer, Wahab Riaz, Rahat Ali and Asad Shafique.
In the C category of the central contract of PCB, there are Muhammad Rizwan, Sohail Khan, Babar Azam, Haris Sohail, Sami Aslam, Muhammad Nawaz, Imran Khan Senior, Khalid Latif, Sharjeel Khan, Sohail Tanveer, Shan Masood, Muhammad Irfan, Imad Waseem and Hassan Ali. In the D category, there are total five players and they are Anwar Akmal, Umar Akmal, Zulfiqar Babar, Ahmed Shahzad and Muhammad Asghar.

Misbah: Yasir Shah has no Place in T20 Team in Presence of Shahid Afridi

Test captain of Pakistan National cricket team, Misbah ul Haq says that he has no relation with T20 and ODI cricket. If Shahid Afridi plays in the T20 or ODI match, then they have to drop Yasir Shah, as he has no place for him in the team. He further said that Yasir Shah could be good option in the short format of cricket, as he is the leg spin bowler. But there is Shahid Afridi in the team and it is difficult for him to make room for him. He also said that Imad Waseem is also showing good all round performance in the team. Captain of the team has to make various difficult decisions in the presence of various options in the T20 cricket.
