In the 2^nd T20 match being played at Sheikh Zahid stadium the Pakistani bowlers and fielders performed so well that the Srilankan team even after a good start could score only 124 runs in 20 overs and in ans the Pakistanis completes the target by losing 8 wickets and one ball was still remaining.

From the Pakistan side Ahmed Shehzad and Fakhar Zaman came as openers and like the Srilankan player the Pakistani first player also got run out, Fakhar Zaman got out on 11 runs and then Babar Azam came for batting but unfortunately the umpire made the wrong decision on the 2^nd ball and Babar Azam got out.

The man who supported the team in the last match by his experienced batting also this time couldn’t stand long on the wicket and scored only 9 runs and got out whereas ahmed Shehzad also got out on 27 runs. The captain Sarfraz ahmed and Muhammad Hafeez made the partnership of 39 runs but Muhammad Hafeez got out on 14 runs after that Imad Waseem came for batting and he also just scored 2 runs and got out.

The captain sarfraz ahmed tried his best to stay on the wicket till the end of the match but his bad luck and got out on 28 runs and in the last over Pakistan needed 12 runs but Faheem ashraf just scored a 4 on the first ball and got out but amazingly Shahdab khan hitted a six on the 4^th ball of the over and took Pakistan near to the victory and on the next ball made the team won the match by taking 2 runs.

Before that the team captain Sarfraz Ahmed won the toss and elected to field first. From Srilankan side Danushka and Dilshan came as openers and gave the team the starter of 43 runs, Dilshan got out on 19 runs after that Sadera Samaraokarama came and along with Danushka made the partnership of 63 runs but Samaraokarama also got out on 32 runs.

The opener Danushka played well by scoring 1 six and 4 fours he made 51 runs but Shahdab khan also got him out. Even though after a good start by the openers of Srilanka the Pakistani fielder fielded so well that the Srilankan team got under pressure, even though the 2^nd wicket fall down after 106 but still the whole team managed to score just 124 runs.

From the Pakistan side Faheem ashraf has done his first hat trick of the career and this way he became the first Pakistani bowler to do a hat trick in T20. He got 3 batsmen out, Hassan ali 2 and Shahdab khan got 1 wicket.

The 3^rd and the last T20 match between Pakistan and Srilanka will be played on October, 29 in Lahore.
